Sandwich panels are multilayer (three- or, less often, two-layer) structure with a layer of insulant in the middle and durable facing layer on the outside. Different variations of sandwich panels allow for achieving the best combination of thermal properties, price, and quality. Compared to brick, concrete, or ferroconcrete slabs, the use sandwich panels generally lowers investments in construction and renovation, due to significantly lower costs of materials and labor.
